The Sound of Ideas Community Tour: NASA Glenn’s Role in Space Exploration

The Sound of Ideas Community Tour brings 90.3 WCPN ideastream's radio show out of the studio and into neighborhoods across Northeast Ohio to talk directly with residents about issues that are important to them.  Join us at the Great Lakes Science Center for the fourth stop of this year's tour, hosted by Mike McIntyre, as we engage in an interactive conversation with NASA experts about Northeast Ohio’s vital role in space. On July 20, 1969, Ohio native Neil Armstrong made history with his “giant leap for mankind”— walking on the moon. 50 Years later, we’ll ask: What next? A trip back to the moon? A manned voyage to Mars? We'll take audience questions and comments throughout the show. It’s free and open to the public. The show will be taped and will air on 90.3 WCPN ideastream on Thursday, July 18 at 9am. ideastream is supported in part by the residents of Cuyahoga County through a public grant from Cuyahoga Arts & Culture.
