      Erie Hack Final

Join us for the FINAL Erie Hack event of 2019, an exciting day of top Erie Hack teams pitching their solutions to some of Lake Erie's greatest problems. Teams from Cleveland, Detroit, Buffalo, Windsor, Erie, and Toledo will be competing for $100,000 in cash and prizes. Registration includes the full day of pitches, lunch, panel presentations from early-stage technology companies, Keynote speech, food and beverages, and a reception. Erie Hack is a 100k innovation challenge that accelerates technology solutions to Lake Erie’s most pressing problems. The six-month competition empowers researchers, designers, engineers, developers and creatives from cities around the Lake Erie Basin to build teams, develop innovations, and compete for more than $100,000 in prizes. The Erie Hack Competition will culminate in Cleveland, Ohio on June 20th on the week of the 50th anniversary of the burning of the Cuyahoga River. Please join us in celebrating the five decades of water innovation that followed the river burning by supporting the next generation of high-tech water trailblazers! Erie Hack is an official event of the Cuyahoga50 celebration, so be sure to stick around Cleveland for the weekend for other exciting events celebrating the 50th anniversary of the event that sparked the modern environmental movement. Erie Hack is a program of Cleveland Water Alliance, a nonprofit that leverages freshwater technology to spur economic development and innovation in the Lake Erie Basin. The program is implemented in collaboration with partners in Detroit, Toledo, Ohio, Erie, Pa., Buffalo, N.Y. and Windsor, Ontario.
