Blood Stripe: A Spouse's Story A Film Documentary Premiere

Blood Stripe: A Spouses Story Documentary World Premiere  The film tells the story of one military spouse's journey navigating the minefield of living with her Marine husband's PTSD and Traumatic Brain Injury. It's a journey that still continues today. Through sheer willful determination and resourcefulness, she was able to find resources, support, and education that enabled her to discover a new normal.  Immediately following the movie, recording Nashful recording artist Ricky Lee, who appears in the Blood Stripe documentary, will perform select songs from his album "Freedom." The True Story That Inspired the Film Megan Cain was thankful that her husband, Jeremy, returned from Iraq. Many of his fellow Marines in the 3/25 did not. Yet Jeremy wasn't the same when he came home. When things seemed most desperate, when she thought her kids might be taken away, her despair led to a path of understanding and realization that sparked a journey.  The documentary is adapted from Denise Weller's original dance theater production and tells Megan and Jeremy's story through a mix of dance, music, and interviews. Hauntingly moving and intensely revealing, Blood Stripe is a must-see for military veterans, their spouses and patriotic Americans alike. Nashville Recording artist, Ricky Lee performs select songs from his album "Freedom".
