      Advanced Medicolegal Forensic Series 2020 (June 8-12)

      ELIGIBILITY: This program provides advanced training for Medicolegal Death Investigators, Coroners, Medical Examiners, Law Enforcement, Firefighters, Paramedics/EMT, Physicians, Nurses, Attorneys, Forensic Scientists, Funeral Directors, and Embalmers. If you have any questions about whether you qualify, please contact Joseph Stopak (jstopak@cuyahogacounty.us) before registering. Limited to 50 students. COURSE DESCRIPTION: This unique 5-day lecture series provides advanced knowledge in forensics, death investigations, and crime scene investigations, while allowing the opportunity to network with professionals from various agencies. Participants are exposed to multiple forensic disciplines and resources available to elevate their professional skills. Click here to download our brochure. CONTINUING MEDICAL EDUCATION CREDITS: This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of Case Western University School of Medicine and the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's Office. Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians. Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine designates this live activity for a maximum of 35.75 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. The ABMDI accepts continuing education that is approved by the AMA, ANA, ABA, POST, and post-secondary institutions recognized by national educational accrediting agencies. CLE credits are available and pre-approved by the Ohio Supreme Court and sponsored by Cleveland-Marshall College of Law..   FEE: The fee for this five- day course is $500. Fee includes refreshments, lunches, course materials, and Continuing Education Credits. Purchase order registrants have to be manually registered for the course by CCMEO.
